Intermediate Italian
In this intermediate class, you will be able to express yourself with ease in many different situations. You will be able to speak about yourself, about other people, and things in the present, past, and future tense. Reading articles and texts covering Italian art, tourism, and geographical facts about Italian regions is only part of building vocabulary and enhancing speaking abilities. More and more discussions will be used to create real speaking situations in which you will be immersed. Students should be able to understand and participate comfortably in conversations on a wide range of topics. Reading and writing skills are also improved as students gain proficiency with conditional and passive constructions.
Italian Intermediate classes are offered during the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall quarters.
